Head down Second Street for fifteen blocks of popular places to shop, eat, drink, and play. The Belmont Pier, Belmont Shore Beach, and Alamitos Bay Beaches are also just a few blocks away. Spend the day outdoors at the beach, swim in the Alamitos Bay lagoons, go jet-skiing, fishing, or take a romantic tour to Naples, Long Beaches' picturesque, Italian-inspired island.
Community sports is a favorite activity in Belmont. Sand volleyball courts are located near the Belmont Pier, and an extensive paved cycling route runs the length of the beach. There are often local skateboard crews, basketball tournaments, and corn hall competitions. On the second Saturday of every December, Long Beach hosts a famous Holiday Boat Parade along the canals of Belmont Shore, Naples, and into the Alamitos Bay.
